Two things about Hetalia I cannot put on FB:

1) It’s only popular because of OMG HAWT MAN LUVINZ. If the characters actually looked like they were from their respective countries (i.e. NOT GHEY), I can guarantee that 3/4 of the fandom would abandon it for gayer pastures. Actually, maybe if the art style was actually, y’know, GOOD, then maybe I wouldn’t be so mean to it BUT NO. IT STICKS TO FUCKIN’ SPARKLY KAWAII DESU WEEABOO BULLSHIT.

2) I don’t know where the fuck the story is going. I’ve heard it’s meant to be a satire of the war or sumfink, in which case I must wonder what exactly happens in the end. What, Japan gets bombed, Italy is hanged, and Germany shoots himself in the bonker? If so, why exactly is this thing still alive? Hey, most WW2 games come to the nearly same conclusion but at least they have an excuse because you actually become part of the entire experience instead of just standing at the sidelines.

And incidentally, where the fuck does it take place? Some alternate dimension where the world is itself a country? FUCK THIS SERIES.

Also, THE FLAG OF ENGURAND IS ALL WRONG, apparently.
